We are seeking an Inventory Controller to join a National Logistics Provider for an ongoing assignment.

The Role
An established and growing national logistics provider is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join their operations team based in Forrestfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented inventory professional who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and enjoys working closely with operations, transport providers, and customers to ensure stock accuracy and service excellence.
Reporting to the Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock control, supporting warehouse activities, and ensuring inventory integrity aligns with customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient supply chain operations and high service standards.
Inventory Control
* Monitor and manage stock levels, cycle counts, and stock integrity
* Maintain and update inventory movements within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances
* Manage aged stock in line with customer guidelines
* Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting
Customer Service & Operational Support
* Act as a key liaison between warehouse operations, transport providers, and customers
* Respond to and resolve inventory-related enquiries
* Generate stock and discrepancy reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Coordinate inbound deliveries and freight movements
Safety & Compliance
* Comply with all WHS policies and procedures
* Support Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
* Promote a strong safety-first culture
* Previous experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Administration, or a similar logistics role
* Strong understanding of inventory systems and WMS platforms (SAP experience highly regarded)
* High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Forklift licence (desirable)
