What does the job look like?
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to coordinate all inventory usage and storage requirements at our state-of-the-art BevChain Kemps Creek facility, in line with company budgets and plans. This position will contribute to increased company profitability by efficiently and effectively maintaining all inventory-related activities, stock accuracy, and product integrity for BevChain, while adhering to safety standards to achieve operational excellence.
This is a permanent opportunity, operating Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and every second Saturday 8am to 4pm.
Key areas
* Analyse inventory records to assess stock demand, ensuring optimal stock levels in collaboration with the client.
* Uphold inventory accuracy through routine physical inventories or cycle counting.
* Proactively address inventory issues, offering timely resolutions to minimise disruptions to customer and employee satisfaction.
* Monitor and report on inventory records, emphasising damaged stock levels, credit returns, and stock adjustments.
* Execute stock transactions in alignment with customer reconciliation processes.
* Maintain regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including the customer.
* Adhere to key KPI's for inventory control ie cycle count recording, compliance etc.
* Adhere to Linfox standards, policies, and procedures consistently, including the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management system.
Are you the one?
We are looking for a driven, analytical, and independent individual capable of overseeing and upkeeping all facets of inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You can demonstrate:
* 2–3 years' experience in inventory is highly regarded.
* Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Suite (Intermediate Excel).
