Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist (3, 4 or 5 days per week)

ST & A Psychology Leading Group Practice is seeking registered Psychologists to join a dedicated team across St. Leonards and Manly Vale. The role offers flexible hours, an independent contractor arrangement, and opportunities for career progression to clinical team leader or principal psychologist.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct assessments and provide psychological therapy using evidence‐based interventions (ACT, CFT, DBT, CBT, Schema, EMDR, MI and Narrative).
* Ensure consistent client engagement and therapeutic progress, addressing premature termination proactively.
* Liaise with other health professionals, referrers and GP's via phone, email, and written reports.
* Participate in fortnightly individual supervision and case consultation.
* Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with referrers to support referral intake.
* Adopt flexible, client‐centred practice while maintaining therapeutic integrity.
* Provide after‐hours sessions up to two days per week as required.

Essential Criteria

* Full registration with the Australian Psychology Board and AHPRA, or on route to registration.
* Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
* Clinical competence in CBT and willingness to work with other modalities including ACT, Schema, MI, CFT, DBT and mindfulness‐based therapies.
* Registered or on route to Medicare provider status.
* Clinical experience with a range of presentations and client populations.
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Professional, flexible, collaborative and committed attitude.
* Warm, friendly, caring approach to supporting clients.
* Availability for after‐hours sessions (minimum 2 days per week).
* Capability to build and maintain relationships with referrers.
* Demonstrated ability to achieve excellent treatment outcomes.
* Excellent organisational and time‐management skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.

Desirable Criteria

* Experience in ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, MI, CFT and other mindfulness‐based models.
* Clinical endorsement in psychology.
* Experience working with children, adolescents or couples.
* WorkCover approved status.
* Previous private practice experience and/or Medicare MHCP work.
