What’s the role?
An exciting opportunity is available for Principal Engineer to join the Quality Engineering Platform – Core Data & Observability team. This role focuses on managing our Quality Engineering Platform data model, state maintenance, data relationships, integrations, and any required abstractions to ensure interoperability, automation, process codification, and unambiguous observability across our service offerings and related tooling ecosystems. It underpins consistent system behaviour, object reference clarity, service traceability, and meaningful actionable analytics supporting our regulatory and compliance outcomes.
What do I need?
* Deep knowledge of data structures, state models, and persistence patterns in event-based architectures.
* Design and implementation of data abstraction layers, synchronisation, mediation, integration patterns and structures.
* Worked with monitoring tools like ELK and OpenTelemetry.
* Familiarity with test data lifecycle and management concepts.
* Hands-on experience building and maintaining observability pipelines.
* Experience integrating with enterprise tools and commercial systems.
