Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our team. As an ATA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient transport of non-emergency patients.
Your role will involve performing patient assessments, providing treatment during on-road transport, and developing positive relationships with patients and stakeholders.
You will work collaboratively with other team members to provide exceptional care and support to patients in need.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), or Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration)
* Evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and a Clinical Skills Assessment
* Completion of a minimum of 400 hours operational experience under the direct supervision of a clinical instructor
* Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Full Drivers Licence, State driver history report, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia
