The role
We have an exciting new role for a Category Lead - Facilities Management to join our team. This role will play a key part in achieving our overarching procurement strategy. Helping the Crown Group achieve the best commercial outcomes for the business. You will be responsible for
Driving strategic sourcing events with the key focus on optimising cost, quality, delivery & technology standards to the business. Overseeing the day-to-day sourcing of new services and special sourcing to ensure they are in alignment with the overall category strategy. Visiting business units regularly to gain a better understanding of product and service offering needs and take action on issues presented, providing strategic procurement advice to maximise commercial outcomes. Providing leadership and innovation from a sourcing perspective towards environmental management and sustainability programs. Reviewing supplier offerings for innovative products to reduce costs. About You
This role is ideal for a facility management procurement professional to join a dynamic environment. Ideally you would have exposure to a similar environment to help navigate the challenges of an integrated resort. You will bring a high degree of enthusiasm to help deliver on the procurement strategy;
Degree in a Business/ Commerce / Facility Management discipline highly regarded. Experience in Contract Preparation and Sourcing & Tendering. Highly skilled in influencing and negotiation, both internally and externally. Well-developed communication and presentations skills, able to influence at all levels internally and externally.
