Job Summary:
* This role involves supporting our HR team with various tasks such as payroll, workers' compensation, contracts, onboarding and general HR duties.
* Responsibilities include managing employee records, overseeing expense reimbursement, processing payroll and workers' compensation claims, developing and implementing HR initiatives, processes and systems.
* Additional responsibilities include assisting with asset management, background checks, drug screens and medical exams for employees.
* Evaluating candidates to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations is also a key responsibility.
* Processing timesheets and handling various employee needs are also part of this role.
* Attending local hiring events and training is also expected.

* A proactive and independent individual with a strong work ethic is required.
* Excellent communication, follow-up and interpersonal skills are essential.
* Effective time management with proven ability to meet deadlines is necessary.
* Familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices in hiring and recruitment is a must.
* Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and other related software is required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources Generalist and related duties is required.
* An AA or B.A. Degree is strongly preferred.
