Administration Officer Community & Engagement
Waratah-Wynyard Council have an exciting opportunity available for an Administration Officer to support our vibrant, growing municipality.
We are looking for an experienced and professional Administration Officer who can deliver high-quality administrative and business support to our Community and Engagement Directorate.
This role goes well beyond traditional administration; you'll play an integral role in supporting the Directorate's operations and activities, contributing to a wide range of community-focused programs and services.
From coordinating meetings and managing calendars to enhancing systems and processes, your work will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting positive outcomes for our community.
The successful applicant will also need the capability to provide occasional backfill for the Executive Officer during leave, particularly in supporting Council meeting processes.
This is a permanent full-time position working 75 hours over a 9-day fortnight.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven Experience in providing administrative support in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of computer literacy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
