About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior ICT Project Manager to lead and deliver medium-to-large ICT projects for a federal government client.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing ICT transitions or service integrations within the Australian Government, preferably involving shared services arrangements.

The successful candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, as well as leadership and team management experience in ICT operations teams.

Financial planning and risk management skills are also essential, including budget monitoring and implementing strategies to manage risks and ensure the security and reliability of ICT systems.

1. Lead and deliver medium-to-large ICT projects, including planning, risk management, change control, and delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
2. Manage ICT transitions or service integrations within the Australian Government, preferably involving shared services arrangements.
3. Engage, negotiate, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, technical teams, and non-technical staff.
4. Lead, mentor, and manage ICT operations teams, including staff, contractors, and budgets.
5. Monitor ICT budgets and implement strategies to manage risks and ensure the security and reliability of ICT systems.
