Are you an experienced M&A Transaction Services professional who wants to take their M&A career to the next level? Join a market-leading team advising top-tier corporates and global private equity investors on significant M&A transactions in Australia. What will your typical day look like? You will play a key role in driving the delivery of engagements and conducting financial due dilligence. In this role, you will: • Advise leading Australian and global financial institutions and private equity investors on a wide variety of complex and challenging transactions. • Develop a deep understanding of the target business and its drivers. • Review historical trading, quality of earnings, cash flow, working capital, net debt, capital expenditure, forecasts, and underlying assumptions through discussions with management teams. • Review sale and purchase agreements and financial models. • Mentor and coach a team of high-performing practitioners. • Develop your skills to build our brand in the market through business development opportunities with existing and targeted clients. About the team We know that Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) are a huge deal for businesses, so whether the focus is on growth through acquisitions or increasing shareholder value through strategic divestments, we support clients from start to finish. Enough about us, let's talk about you. To excel in this role, you should be a highly motivated and talented performer, looking to join a leading M&A Transaction Service practice. You may have all or some of the following skills / experience: Advanced knowledge of the drivers of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flows and ability to demonstrate this through complex financial analysis and commercial insights. Strong familiarity with the broader deal-oriented process and environment. Structured thinker with analytical and financial skills to work on complex financial transactions. CA, CFA, Masters in Applied Finance or MBA. Solid experience in performing financial due diligence assignments in a transaction environment. Why Deloitte?
