Service Desk Officer - 6‑Month Contract - Blacktown
Clicks IT Recruitment is seeking a Service Desk Officer to join a busy IT team based onsite at the Civic Centre in Blacktown. This is a 6‑month temporary contract offering $42.93 per hour (including super). You'll be working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating roster between 7:30am and 5:30pm.
Responsibilities
* Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop and service desk support
* Diagnose & resolve hardware, software, and network issues
* Log and manage service requests and incidents in the ITSM system
* Escalate complex problems to senior support teams
* Assist with account management and system administration tasks
* Support installation and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
* Deliver excellent customer service to end users
* Maintain IT documentation and knowledge base articles
* Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
About you
* Previous experience in desktop support or service desk roles
* Strong knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work effectively within a rotating roster
