PTW Architects have several exciting mixed‐use, multi‐residential, hospitality and interiors projects in the pipeline. We now have an opportunity for an ambitious Architect / Designer with strong design, graphic and documentation skills to take that next step up in their career.
About the role
You will work alongside the Project Architect or Director on projects from concept design through to completion. You will demonstrate strong proficiency in Revit and SketchUp and deliver high quality concept and documentation packages. You enjoy working in a highly collaborative and creative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Successfully convey and communicate design concepts through 2D and 3D drawings and renders for presentations and reports
* Collaborate on complex, medium and large‐scale projects, coordinate and manage expectations with all stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and builders
* Contribute to different project stages including concept design, schematic design, tender documentation and construction documentation
* Assist with production of detailed drawings, schedules and specifications as part of a broader team
* Participate in design competitions to showcase the firm's creative capabilities and expand the project portfolio
* Able to collaborate on complex Revit files for large scale projects
* Maintain quality control across all aspects of design and delivery.
* Effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and risks through to completion.
* Contribute to the refinement of internal processes, QA systems and continuous improvement of design and documentation standards.
What you will bring to the team
* Masters Degree in Architecture
* Registered Architect highly desirable
* 5‐7 years local post‐graduate experience
* Strong 3D visualisation and graphic presentation skills (Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp and AI rendering/visualisation tools)
* Demonstrated experience working on high‐quality, complex, mixed‐use residential, high‐rise (Class 2) projects.
* Exceptional eye for design and graphics
* Proficient in Revit and SketchUp, with strong documentation and coordination skills.
* In‐depth knowledge of NCC, SEPP65, ADG, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
* Experience managing project budgets, programming and mitigating risks.
* Sound experience working with façade consultants
* Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior staff in their development.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* DBP Practitioner registration is advantageous but not essential.
