Product Visionary Leader
Job Overview:
Drive global product strategy to support company growth and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive global product plan aligned with business objectives.
* Collaborate with in-region teams to surface local market customer needs and nuances.
* Lead the successful deployment of global and local product plans through innovation, leadership, and communication.
* Partner with senior leaders to articulate a strategic business plan with clear priorities.
* Represent the global business and communicate plans and goals to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Accountabilities:
* Supplier Partnerships:
o Design unique value propositions for agents/agencies to increase acquisition, retention, and share of wallet.
o Communicate plans and goals to suppliers, ensuring understanding of the global business and its agents/agencies.
o Identify opportunities to create compelling offers from net margin growth suppliers that add value to agents/agencies or drive commercial returns.
* Strong Leadership:
o Establish a structured approach for a consolidated business.
o Provide discipline leadership and direction to the in-country Product team members.
o Ensure the global product direction is clearly articulated and adhered to in all regions.
* Strategic Product Vision and Plan:
o Develop and drive a compelling product strategic plan aligned to the global business' vision and objectives.
o Understand the competitive landscape to identify opportunities or lack of competitiveness, accompanied by a go-to-market plan.
o Contribute to customer discovery efforts using design thinking or lean design methods.
o Implement tactical strategies to increase share of wallet from agencies within the network.
Qualifications:
* Degree-qualified desirable.
* Travel industry experience essential - at least 5 years.
* Travel product experience essential - at least 3 years in a senior product or supply role.
