About the Role: We currently have an opportunity for an energetic L eisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join us on a Part Time basis at our Albany, WA Home. As a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant, you will support and deliver the Lifestyle program whilst understanding and considering the evolving needs of our residents. The role will work closely with the team but in particular our Lifestyle, Catering staff and Customer Service Officer with strong guidance from the L&L Coordinator Key Responsibilities ; Undertake comprehensive lifestyle review of each resident Write care plans for individual residents on lifestyle Flexibility of hours to ensure a coverage of lifestyle activities 7 days a week, evenings also. Strong ability to utilise community support programs. Provision of education and support to lifestyle staff Selection criteria: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Positive and proactive work ethic Previous experience in Aged Care setting would be an added advantage Understanding of how to apply resident choices to an activity planner A genuine interest in elderly care and the desire to improve the lives of our residents Sound computer skills You would also need to have a current NDIS clearance and proof of Rights to Work.
