Position based at Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre, located approximately 90km northeast of Perth.
This is an exceptional opportunity to establish and lead a newly formed multidisciplinary team, driving collaboration, inclusion, and high performance while promoting innovation and continuous improvement in care for detainees.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the primary healthcare services in the detention facility.
Manage resources flexibly to meet business and workflow requirements, including scheduling, rostering, and resource allocation to ensure timely, responsive, and appropriate service delivery and continuity of care.
Adopt and promote a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement by leading, implementing, and championing change.
Inspire and engage team members by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, motivation, and mentorship.
Actively participate in risk management and quality improvement systems to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
Support the development of an organisational culture that prioritises proactive risk identification and mitigation.
What you'll bring
Bachelor of Nursing degree with a minimum of five years' post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant field.
At least five years' experience in leadership or management roles within a complex healthcare environment.
Current AHPRA registration in Nursing or another relevant clinical profession with no conditions.
