We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to support our business in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and providing valuable insights for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end payroll for approximately 100 staff
* Maintain precise financial records using MYOB, process accounts payable, and perform reconciliations
* Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and statutory compliance lodgements with an external accountant
* Support senior management with management reports, budgets, and financial insights
* Oversee various administrative duties such as managing contracts, insurances, vehicle registers, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance
* Ensure IT systems, phones, and equipment operate smoothly through supplier coordination
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in finance (bookkeeping/payroll) and administration
* A manufacturing environment is highly regarded
* Strong knowledge of MYOB and Modern Award interpretation is essential
* A meticulous eye for detail and a confidential approach are required
* A natural organiser who can multitask and manage priorities effectively is necessary
