Responsibilities
* Lead the breakfast kitchen brigade supervising and setting a positive example for the team
* Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to recipes and quality standards
* Ensure all food preparation and plating is executed efficiently and meets presentation guidelines
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast station and kitchen areas in line with HACCP procedures
* Assist in stock management and inventory control while managing costs
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
* Uphold and enforce strict health and hygiene standards
* Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned
* Foster our culture of engagement within the culinary team with a focus on training and development, supported by theExecutive Chef and Sous Chef
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, specialising in breakfast service in a hotel environment advantageous
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced service
* A passion for quality ingredients, presentation, and delivering outstanding guest experiences
* Strong knowledge of modern breakfast cooking techniques, recipes, and industry trends
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
* Trade qualificationsfrom a culinary school.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
* Current unrestricted Australian working rights
