Want to be part of a tight-knit local team making things happen in the engineering and fabrication space? Matrix Engineering is on the hunt for a motivated General Administration Support Officer to keep our operations running smoothly

About the Role

This is a dynamic role offering variety across:

General administration and reception support

Social media & marketing assistance (content creation, posting, basic website updates)

Estimating support, quote formatting, and supplier liaison

Accounts receivable using Xero – invoicing, payment tracking, basic reconciliations

Direct support to the Operations Manager with scheduling and project tracking

No two days are the same

What We're Looking For

Experience in an admin, office, or support role (2+ years ideal)

Confident with Xero and MS Office (Google Workspace a bonus)

Social media know-how (FB, Insta, LinkedIn) and basic content writing skills

Strong communication, attention to detail, and multi-tasking ability

Self-motivated and proactive with a can-do attitude

Experience in construction, trades, or engineering environments is a plus
