Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Reservations and Sales Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful contribution to our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting ongoing relationships with wholesale, group, and inbound sales contacts, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing strong relationships with internal business units to grow cross-selling opportunities.
* Maintaining company and guest profiles, preferences, and booking history using CRM systems.
* Creating and maintaining processes and procedures for handling reservations from online travel agents, wholesale businesses, and group bookings.
* Providing remote guidance, training, and support to team members on reservation procedures and sales techniques.
* Providing administrative support to the telephone team, assisting with scheduling, data entry, and customer inquiries.
* Assisting with sales telephone demand as needed, providing support to the sales team during peak periods.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in reservations, sales, or customer service roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Preferred proficiency in NewBook or RMS property management systems.
