Regional Landcare Coordinator (Job Share Role)
We have an exciting job share opportunity to support Landcare and environmental volunteering in the Glenelg Hopkins region, with our fixed-term, part-time Regional Landcare Coordinator role.
Location: Hamilton or Warrnambool (with flexibility to work from home on a part-time basis)
Salary Range: Band 6 ($100,255 - $109,167 p.a. pro rata)

About the role
The Regional Landcare Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Landcare and environmental volunteering in the Glenelg Hopkins region to enable communities to take action for a healthy environment.
The role will assist local Landcare facilitators to support their groups and networks to gain knowledge of regional and state natural resource management (NRM) plans, priorities, and programs; and support Landcare networks and groups to build their capacity.
A key focus of the role is to support the delivery of the Victorian Landcare Grants at a regional level.
About You
The successful applicant will hold a relevant degree in science, agriculture or environmental management or related field, together with relevant work experience.
Alternatively, significant relevant experience and a demonstrated ability to perform the role would be required.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong knowledge and experience of Landcare, and natural resource management issues relevant to the region, as well as experience in project management and the implementation of community grants programs.
To be considered for this role, you will need a high level of facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills to support building productive relationships and collaborative outcomes with diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience in community engagement processes, the ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact is essential.

Mandatory Requirements
current Victorian Drivers Licence
current Working with Children Check (can be obtained prior to appointment)
current National Police Check (can be obtained prior to appointment)
completion of a pre-employment medical declaration and/or independent physical assessment (if required).
