This role is part of the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability and supports the P-8A Poseidon program at RAAF Base Edinburgh.
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
Ensure compliance with the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
Foster effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers and industry teams.
Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
Maintain a positive attitude toward Environmental Health & Safety, prioritising the well-being of all personnel.
What You Will Bring To BDA (Qualifications)
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
Hold a current driver's licence
Desirable
Previous experience working with Military aircraft
Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
