Overview
Permanent, part‐time Specialised Carer – Home Care Carer with HammondCare Brisbane. Based in Chermside and surrounding suburbs of Brisbane North.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, and medication.
* Help with meal preparation and light house cleaning.
* Transport clients to appointments and assist with shopping.
* Support clients in activities to maintain independence at home.
* Adapt care plans to meet the changing needs of each client.
Qualifications
* Valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable vehicle (minimum third‐party property insurance).
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is desirable; unqualified applicants will be offered training.
* Experience in aged or community care is preferred but not required.
* Patient, solutions‐focused, and good interpersonal skills.
Remuneration and Benefits
* Pay rate: $31.95 to $35.44 per hour plus $0.99 per km.
* Paid travel time and a mobile phone provided.
* Full training provided; no experience required.
* Salary packaging: $15,900 annually towards living expenses, up to $2,650 per year for meals and entertainment.
