Classic Meats Perth supplies portion control and all processed meat requirements to our network of foodservice distribution facilities that supply to hotels, restaurants, clubs and institutions.
We are looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Procurement/ Stock Controller at our Malaga branch.

Classic Meats is a national meat and foodservice leader, and you'll play a key role in keeping things moving behind the scenes, ensuring products are picked, packed and delivered with precision.
This role suits someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, stays focused under pressure and is comfortable operating in freezer, chiller and dry store areas. It's physical, it's practical and it's essential to the success of hospitality businesses.
About the role
On a typical day, you'll be checking and ordering stock and helping out with daily despatch. The role will also require you to:
* Checking UBD's
* Receive, put away and rotate stock
* Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations
* Perform duties in freezer environments (down to -25°C)
* Support warehouse housekeeping and safety protocols
* Work overtime when required to meet demand
About you
We're looking for someone who enjoys the physical side of work, can be relied on to show up and work hard and takes pride in doing a job properly. You're punctual, practical and a team player. The kind of person others can count on when it gets busy.
If you've worked in hospitality, kitchens or butchers before and understand the pace and importance of getting things right, that experience translates perfectly to this role. Previous warehouse experience and a forklift licence are an advantage, but more important is your work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn.

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience (a plus)
* Good communication and time management skills
* Comfortable working across freezer and chiller areas
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical (if required)
