What You'll Be Doing
Perform reactive and planned maintenance on HVAC-R systems, plant, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, and code requirements.
Respond to work requests promptly using AFM Online, prioritising safety and efficiency.
Participate in after-hours emergency maintenance and assist across WSLHD facilities.
Provide technical advice and support for new installations, inspections, and commissioning.

Remuneration: $65,364 – $75,168 per annum

Essential Criteria
License: Drivers Unrestricted
Qualification: Tertiary qualification in HVAC-R trade
Electrical Tradesperson Level 1: completed apprenticeship and/or holds relevant trade certificate or equivalent
Electrical Tradesperson Level 2: 120 hours of approved courses completed
Electrical Tradesperson Level 3: 240 hours of approved courses completed
Electrical Tradesperson Level 4: 360 hours of approved courses completed
Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualification in HVAC-R trade with a tradesperson's certificate of competency
Ability to prioritise and successfully undertake work in a busy, dynamic role with minimal supervision; 12-hour shift coverage in the Building Maintenance Centre on a rotating roster as required
Knowledge of HVAC-R systems, processes and automated equipment; ability to fault find and perform repairs efficiently and cost-effectively
Proven HVAC-R maintenance experience with related plant and superior diagnostics abilities
Knowledge of software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to maintain stock and workflow in an HVAC-R workshop
