As an Allied Health Assistant in Medical Imaging, you will provide vital support to our Medical Imaging Department, assisting Medical Radiation Scientists (Radiographers) in delivering high-quality services to patients. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the performance of imaging examinations and procedures, assisting with patient lifts and transfers, maintaining cleanliness of equipment and treatment areas, and handling essential administrative tasks.
This dynamic role may require you to work across multiple sites and participate in weekend shifts, giving you the opportunity to engage directly in patient care while contributing to the efficient operation of our healthcare services. The Allied Health Assistant salary level is dependent on qualifications:
- Level 1 – No Qualifications;
- Level 2 – Completion of 12 or more months' service as an Allied Health Assistant Level 1 or Certificate III or other qualification deemed equivalent;
- Level 3 – Certificate IV qualification or other qualification deemed equivalent or successfully assessed as possessing competencies required for Cert IV by way of RPL.
