You'll play a critical role in designing and delivering substation infrastructure that underpins the transmission network as a Principal Electrical Engineer specializing in substations.

About You
Your technical skills are grounded in strong fundamentals, demonstrated through robust and innovative substation engineering designs.
* You are confident in leading design teams and passionate about coaching and mentoring emerging engineers.
* Beyond substation engineering, you possess a broader range of skills that enable you to contribute to the power business more holistically.
* This will be combined with your deep understanding of various engineering disciplines, industry regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as your project management expertise and experience in integrating complex systems.
Knowledge and experience in software tools such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar engineering design platforms is required.
Preferably, you will have proven capability across a range of the following areas:
* Significant experience in developing substation designs for high voltage electricity networks.
* Ability to work collaboratively with others to deliver as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with a team of engineers and designers (locally and/or internationally) to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Proven ability to manage client expectations while building strong relationships to achieve successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
* A track record of delivering successful project outcomes.
