Your new role
As a result of a change to team structure, CMI Toyota West Terrace is looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as Department Manager. Leading a team of Accounts Payable/Receivable and general administrative staff, you'll bring your knowledge, expertise and energy to help drive efficient and effective outcomes within one of SA's most successful, respected family businesses.
What you'll be doing
* Leading our AP/AR and admin function to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices, payments and collections
* Overseeing the invoice approval process while ensuring compliance with company policies
* Supporting month-end processes, ensuring efficient outcomes
* Driving efficiency within the team, whilst still advocating for accuracy and attention to detail
* Guiding, mentoring, and supporting staff as a values-driven leader
About you
Your success in this role will be supported by:
* Proven experience in leading a similar function with working knowledge of AP/AR principles
* Strong attention to detail and ability to drive process compliance
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities, either as a past leader or as someone with the skillset needed to take the next step
* Excellent organisational and analytical skills
* Proven ability to identify and lead process improvement initiatives
* Exceptional interpersonal communication skills within a busy and diverse business
