Site Construction Manager
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System project in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all construction activities across the BESS project site
* Lead, mentor and support Site Managers, Supervisors and trades
* Oversight of project scheduling, programming and workflow coordination
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and regulatory requirements
* Review and approve subcontractor work, variations and progress claims
* Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams
* Drive project delivery to meet deadlines, budgets and quality expectations
Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Construction or Project Manager
* Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects (BESS, solar, wind or HV / MV electrical systems)
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and civil works associated with energy storage projects
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
* Excellent knowledge of Australian building codes, WHS legislation and environmental compliance
* Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Trade qualification or degree in Construction Management
* Relevant construction certifications including White Card and Project Management credentials
Working Conditions:
The ideal candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload effectively. A valid Queensland driver's licence and Australian work rights are essential for this role.
