**Clinical Nurse Role:**
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Rehabilitation ward on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based person-centred care.
You will need to demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and our organisation's policies and processes. This includes fostering a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse who is passionate about teaching, educating, and up-skilling staff in cardiac operating theatres. You will have the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
* Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of excellent standards of evidence-based person-centred care
* Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and our organisation's policies and processes
* Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development
* Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices
* Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the healthcare continuum
* Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes
* Current AHPRA registration
* 3 years' experience within an acute environment
* 1-year minimum team leader or in-charge nursing experience (desirable)
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
