**Job Overview:**
The Grounds Maintenance Officer is a vital position that plays a key role in supporting the operations of our organisation's outdoor facilities.
This role ensures all grounds, facilities, vehicles, and equipment are maintained to a high standard through scheduled maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs.
Responsibilities include:
* Performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs on all grounds, facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
* Undertaking general grounds and property maintenance including landscaping, mowing, gardening, minor building repairs, and upkeep of outdoor areas.
* Responding promptly to unexpected issues such as breakages or failures to ensure uninterrupted campsite operations.
* Coordinating with contractors and other staff to complete maintenance tasks to a high standard.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance requests, inspections, and completed work in line with compliance requirements.
Requirements:
* Year 12 Certificate or equivalent.
* Experience as a handyperson and/or maintaining a facility in a similar context.
* Working knowledge of safe work practices and risk management practices and standards.
* Evidence of well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proven ability to maintain systems, processes and records for compliance.
