On offer is anexciting opportunity to join an established heavy truck dealership in Perthseeking an experienced Truck Sales Manager to lead and grow its new and usedtruck sales operation across Western Australia. This is a senior, hands-onleadership role for someone who understands the heavy vehicle market, can coachhigh-performing sales teams, and knows how to turn pipeline into consistentrevenue.
Your new role
Reporting to theDealer Principal, you will be responsible for the overall performance of thetruck sales function, including:
1. Leading,mentoring and developing a team of Truck Sales Executives
2. Drivingnew and used truck sales volume, margin and market share
3. Settingsales targets, forecasting, and managing pipeline performance
4. Buildingstrong relationships with key fleet, mining, construction and logisticscustomers
5. ManagingOEM relationships, pricing strategies and stock mix
6. Ensuringcompliance with dealership processes, reporting and brand standards
7. Workingclosely with finance, service and parts to deliver end-to-end customersolutions
What you'll need to succeed
This is a role thatblends strategic leadership with front-line customer engagement. You’ll bring astrong background in heavy vehicle sales and a proven ability to lead teams ina competitive market:
8. Demonstratedexperience in truck or heavy vehicle sales management
9. Strongknowledge of the WA heavy transport market
10. Provenleadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
11. Commerciallyastute, with strong negotiation and deal-closing capability
12. Confidentmanaging key accounts and large fleet customers
13. Highlevel of professionalism, integrity and customer focus
14. CurrentAustralian driver’s licence (HR preferred but not essential)
