Experiencing steady and consistent growth over the last number of years, they have a strong presence in regional NSW across 4 offices.
The business is well structured and well supported and maintains a strong focus on people, culture and clients and are passionate about providing clients with peace of mind from a financial perspective.
Due to continued growth and an upcoming retirement, they have a need for an experienced accountant to join the team to support the lead accountants and to ensure that clients continue to enjoy the same levels of service that they are used to.
The Position
This is a genuinely great opportunity to take on a management position and work with the whole team to look after loyal businesses and individuals for all their accounting and financial requirements. While strong technical skills are highly regarded, we are looking for people who also have strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
This role is an integral part of the team and as well as managing the team, you will oversee client relationship management, technical advice, have compliance oversight and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate would spend some time in Yass but could be based in Goulburn or Cootamundra also.
Who we are looking for
* Experienced accounting professionals who are used to dealing with clients at all levels
* Excellent technical understanding – accounting principles, tax laws, tax planning and compliance
* People who are experienced in leading teams
* High levels of emotional intelligence and client engagement skills
* Strong communication abilities coupled with a service delivery mentality
* Knowledge of current regulatory guidelines
* Qualifications in Accounting ideally with CA or CPA status
* Can be flexible – will look at 4 days a week if required
