The Role
As a Product Design Engineer, you will play an essential role in ensuring that frontend concepts created by designers are engineered for successful manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and optimising physical products with a primary focus on Design for Manufacture (DfM)
* Collaborating with the product team to assess feasibility and refine concepts into reliable, efficient designs
* Liaising with factories to ensure manufacturing processes align with design specifications
* Occasional international travel to manufacturers may be required
Skills and experience
We are looking for an enthusiastic, results‑driven professional who has
* 3+ years of experience and proven ability designing physical products
* degree in a relevant field such as: Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
* ability to manage your own work as well as working effectively within a team
* ability to express ideas effectively and use various media appropriately, i.e. illustration, physical models, written and verbal communication
* expertise with 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
