We're looking for compassionate and motivated Peer Practitioners to join a supportive team in Cairns. This is a meaningful opportunity to support others on their recovery journey while being part of a service that truly values lived experience.
About the Role
Working within a collaborative team, you will:
* Use your lived experience to support individuals in their recovery journey
* Build strong, trusting relationships with participants
* Provide guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies
* Work alongside clinicians and support staff in a multidisciplinary environment
* Help create a safe and empowering space for individuals
This is a 7-day roster, with both full-time and part-time options available.

About You
* Lived or living experience of mental health and/or AOD challenges
* Certificate IV in Mental Health, Peer Work, AOD, or similar
* Experience in a Peer Worker / Peer Practitioner role (highly regarded)
* Strong communication and empathy skills
* Ability to work within a team and support others effectively
