In this role, you will provide vital support to our skilled tradespeople, playing a crucial part in the successful delivery of our solar installation projects.
What you'll be doing
* Assist qualified tradespeople with the installation of solar panels and related electrical components
* Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
* Collaborate with the installation team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
* Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks on the job site
* Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the installation team
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a trade assistant or in a similar labourer role, preferably within the construction or renewable energy industry
* Strong practical skills and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites as needed
