After-School Nanny – Moorooka

Pay: From $35 per hour for the right candidate
Hours and Days
5 days per week:
* Monday to Friday: 2:55 pm – 7:00 pm
Flexibility for a slightly later start in the afternoon if this suits the candidate better.
An easy‐going and welcoming family in Moorooka, QLD is seeking a reliable and energetic nanny to care for their 5‐year‐old son. With both parents working, they are looking for someone they can trust to step in during the afternoons and become a valued part of their routine.
The Role
This is a hands‐on, active role focused on after‐school care and supporting a smooth afternoon and evening routine.
* School pick‐up
* Taking the child to the park or outdoor activities
* Supervising play and engaging in age‐appropriate activities
* Preparing simple meals / assisting with meal prep
* Supporting dinner and bath time routines
* Occasional transport to activities (e.g. AusKick on Fridays 5–6 pm, with potential for more in future)
Household Duties
* Meal preparation
* Assisting with laundry
* General light household support to keep things running smoothly
Ideal Candidate
* Energetic, engaging and enjoys active play
* Reliable and trustworthy
* Warm and kind‐natured
* Confident managing after‐school routines
* Happy to be flexible where needed
Requirements
* 3+ years previous experience working with children
* Full Driver's licence and (ideally) own vehicle
* Valid Blue Card
* Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
* Comfortable with animals – The family has a dog (Cavoodle)
* Non‐smoker
