JH Design & Implementation (JHD) is a small consultancy based in Perth, our office is currently based in East Rockingham (likely to relocate in the next 1-2 months somewhere more central, such as O'Connor, but will remain in Southern suburbs)
JHD specialises in the industrial design sector. Specifically, our focus is upon the mechanical/structural design and drafting for plant & equipment developments and upgrades for industrial manufacturers, producers and miners. We are seeking a 3D Designer (structural / mechanical) with interest in the structural and mechanical design realms, and whom has a keen interest in the design of plant & equipment.

Role Requirements:
* Autodesk Inventor 3D modelling and drafting skillset
· Note that Inventor is our primary drafting software so deep familiarity with this software will be crucial.
* Experience in mining and/or industrial equipment
* Experience in structural or mechanical drafting (preferably both)
* Excellent communication skills required
* Technically minded, mechanically minded
* Experience in/with shop manufacturing (drawings)
* High level of computer literacy
Description of Work:
3D modelling, presentation, and shop detailing for a wide range of equipment, such as:
* Plant & factory layout (overall plant design and arrangement)
* Custom machinery and prototype design thereof
* 3D point cloud overlay (on Brownfields jobs)
* Mechanised automation plant
* Product handling systems (transport systems for raw materials, bulk materials, finished products, etc) e.g. Conveyors, Pneumatic transport, Screws & augers, Bucket elevators
* Pressure equipment, pressure piping, vessels, tanks, etc
* Silos, hoppers & bins
* Fixed infrastructure (supporting structures, access structures, etc)
* Thermofluids, pumps & piping
* Lifting equipment and devices
* Fluid & process heating
