Store person | Truck Driver role at Elders
We are looking for a Truck Driver - Store person to join the close-knit team on a casual basis. Flexibility is valued at Elders and candidates seeking a part-time role are encouraged to apply.
As an Elders Truck Driver - Store person, you will provide logistics support to the Branch rural products team, including receiving and dispatching stock in a safe manner. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.
Responsibilities
- Provide a complete delivery service for getting rural products to clients.
- Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe manner.
- Assist with stock take and other rural products logistics support activities as needed.
- Performing rural products sales (in store) as well as general shed and yard duties
About You
- Basic knowledge of general merchandise products and safe storage & handling practices.
- Customer Service skills (desirable).
- A driver's licence required
- Truck licence preferable
- Must be able to safely operate a 4WD towing large trailers loaded with heavy agricultural supplies.
- A Forklift Licence, or the willingness to become licensed after undertaking training offered by Elders
