Job Summary
Dematic is seeking an experienced Site Manager, Logistics to join our Project Delivery team in Melbourne on an $500 million project in Tarneit. This 18-month fixed-term contract (extendable) will involve planning and coordinating logistics movements, lifting and material flow, as well as supporting broader site installation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all crane and lifting operations on site.
* Plan and coordinate delivery, unloading, lifting, storage and distribution of materials with Project Managers.
* Ensure lifting equipment is certified (chains, slings, shackles, beams, spreaders, etc.).
* Promote a solid safety culture on site.
* Coordinate activities across principal contractor teams.
* Work with Planning and Project Controls to sequence works.
* Maintain clear communication between site teams.
* Ensure works meet project quality requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
* Previous experience on site with crane and lifting operations.
* Experience approving and monitoring lift plans.
* Knowledge of WHS legislation.
* Materials handling project experience (ideally).
* Communication and reporting skills.
* Logistics experience.
