Overview
Permanent Education Recruitment Consultant role in Melbourne's West. Beginning in Term 1, 2026, this full time position involves teaching Science to students in Years 7–10, with the possibility of an additional subject, within a small Catholic school community.

Base pay range
A$79,000.00/yr - A$118,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Deliver a comprehensive Science curriculum (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Environmental Science) aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
Plan engaging, differentiated lessons with hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and inquiry-based learning.
Manage laboratory facilities and equipment, ensuring safety, organisation, and correct scientific practices.
Teach laboratory skills, safety protocols, and ethical research methods.
Design and assess student learning through tests, experiments, and other assessment tools.
Maintain professional growth through ongoing development, workshops, and integration of current best practices and technologies.
Skills & Experience
Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
Current VIT registration
Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Secondary Science advantageous
