The Role
This is an office-based position where you'll play a key role in supporting our sales team by preparing accurate and competitive estimates. You don't need direct glazing or windows experience—if you're technically minded, detail-focused, and enjoy working through plans and specifications, we can train you.
Key Responsibilities
* Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
* Taking off quantities and preparing detailed quotations
* Selecting appropriate products based on customer requirements and standards
* Preparing quotes and orders using internal systems (V6 experience a bonus)
* Liaising closely with internal teams and customers
* Following up on quotes and supporting the sales process
About You
* A strong "mechanical" or technical mindset
* Excellent attention to detail
* Critical thinking and problem‐solving skills
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Good level of technical literacy and confidence using systems
* Interest in the construction industry
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Desirable (but not essential)
* Estimating experience (construction or similar industry)
* Experience reading plans or working with building products
* Knowledge of NCC or Australian Standards
