Located on the Adelaide sand belt and established in 1923, the Kooyonga Golf Club is recognised internationally as one of Australia's leading championship courses and private golf clubs having hosted five Men's Australian Opens, one Women's Australian Open and many other State and National golf events and will soon play host to the 2026 Women's Australian Open and 2027 LIV Golf Adelaide event.
As we continue to set the industry benchmark in both golf and hospitality, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to bring their passion, skills and motivation to the Club, elevating our kitchen operations to the next level.
Kooyonga's function and events business is rapidly growing following extensive clubhouse renovations a few years ago, which helps support the high-quality food and beverage service offered to members. This growth presents the successful culinary leader an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our hospitality services for both members and guests.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, key responsibilities include:
* Crafting menus and food of the highest standard
* Lead and inspire a talented kitchen team
* Hands-on management of day-to-day kitchen operations
* Drive efficiency, quality, and consistency
* Meeting or exceeding budget and labour targets
* Elevate our food offering for members, their guests and visitors

* Strong menu planning, costing, and budgeting skills
