About the Role
The Assistant to the Campaigns Director role is a dynamic and fast-paced role that provides administrative and operational support to the Campaign Director. Working independently and as part of a team, the role involves supporting frontline advocacy, court support, coordination of campaign activities and volunteer engagement.
Key responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Campaigns Director.
* Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure effective volunteer engagement with campaign activities.
* Assist with the planning and coordination of campaign events and materials.
* Organise weekly campaign meetings and write and distribute minutes to the campaign team.
* Manage campaign equipment in the office and offsite storage.
* Coordinate court support.
* Undertake research as required.
* Maintain documents and records in the foundation’s computer filing system.
* Organise campaign bookings, including travel and accommodation, advertising and venue hire.
* Assist the Campaigns Director as required.
