The Operations Office at the University of Wollongong (UOW) plays a critical role in enabling the university’s strategic and operational success. Led by the Vice President Operations, the office oversees a broad portfolio of essential services and infrastructure that support the university’s academic, research, and community missions. The Vice President, Operations Office works collaboratively across all UOW campuses regional, metropolitan, and international to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence. It partners closely with academic faculties, research centres, and professional service units to align operations with the university’s strategic priorities, including sustainability, digital transformation, and community engagement.
In this role you will provide high quality and efficient administrative support to ensure the effective operation to the Vice President, (Operations) portfolio. This role supports the Senior Executive Assistant by managing meeting schedules, coordinating logistics, preparing documentation, and performing a range of general administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity, facilitating communication across teams, and ensuring that priorities and deadlines are met. By delivering responsive and reliable support, the role contributes to the overall effectiveness of the executive office and helps drive strategic and operational outcomes.
