Restaurant Supervisor – Epping

What You'll Do
* Supervise daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
* Lead and support staff during shifts, delegating tasks as needed
* Provide excellent customer service and handle feedback or complaints professionally
* Assist with training, mentoring, and motivating team members
* Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food handling standards
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when required
* Be flexible to step into different roles (bar, reception, floor) as needed
* Support rostering and staff coverage when last-minute changes arise
What We're Looking For
* Strong management and leadership skills with prior supervisory or team-leading experience in hospitality
* Solid understanding of restaurant front-of-house operations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
* A positive team player with great attention to detail
* Full-time availability with flexibility to cover shifts when required
* Strong observation skills to spot service issues and opportunities for improvement
* A curious mindset with the willingness to learn and adapt
* Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices is highly regarded
Training & Development
You'll receive one month of structured training, where you'll learn all areas of the restaurant, including:
* Bar – Basic drinks, opening/closing procedures, and stock control
* Reception – Reservations, walk-ins, and customer greetings
* Floor – Service standards, section management, and guest flow
* Cash Handling – POS usage and daily reconciliation
* Team Leadership – Supervising and supporting staff during service
After your training, you'll have a 2-week period to demonstrate your skills by running the team with more independence. This is your chance to show initiative, build confidence, and step into a leadership role with less direct supervision.
