Aya Care Support Services is a dedicated and passionate NDIS provider committed to empowering individuals to live their best lives. We are looking for a reliable and compassionate support worker to assist a teenage boy with Cerebral Palsy in Pakenham. The participant is non-verbal and requires support with personal care and daily activities. Experience working with individuals with Behaviours of Concern (BOCs) is highly regarded.
Location: Pakenham, VIC 3810
Shift:
Tuesday and Wednesday 2pm - 7pm
Saturday - 10am - 4pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and hygiene support
* Support in the home and community
* Implement behaviour support strategies (BOCs)
* Build a positive and consistent relationship with the participant
About You:
* You have a genuine passion for helping others.
* Must be reliable and committed to ongoing shifts
* Previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably children or teens
* Confident in providing personal care
* Calm, patient, and proactive
* You can communicate effectively and clearly in English – written and verbal.
* You have: Relevant Qualification/ Certificates, NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Modules, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR, Driver’s License, access to a reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
