As a wholly owned subsidiary of Re.Group, we are leaders in managing and facilitating operations that focus on recycling for the Container Deposit Schemes (CDS) in Australia. Convenient locations plus new technology enables a seamless recycling experience both at fully staffed depots and Express collection points.
As Team Member you will provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers sort their recyclable products and providing them with the correct refund.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure customers are welcomed and assisted with their recycling products to inspire return customers
- Ensure staff are adhering to all health and safety procedures and highlighting any hazards/faults/risks
- Daily cleaning at all areas of the depot, including front and back as required
- Machine operating while ensuring daily machine cleaning
- Manual handling & sorting of recyclable items into their correct categories
- Cash handling, ensuring the cash float is balanced daily
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and increasing customer satisfaction
- Ensure that staff have the skills and training to work safely and efficiently
About you:
- Moderate level of fitness required. The role requires active engagement with customers and the completion of manual handling tasks
- A current forklift license would be highly desirable but not mandatory
- Previous customer service, Warehouse, Hospitality, or Retail experience would be highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- A current driver’s license
- You have a excellent 'can do' attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions
