The Opportunity:
Are you an energetic, dedicated turf management professional ready for a career-defining leadership role? We're looking for a Course Superintendent who thrives on innovation, meticulous attention to detail, and delivering consistently outstanding playing conditions. You'll be overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our course, leading a team of skilled staff and working closely with the management team to achieve our goals.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the golf course to the highest standards, ensuring optimal playing conditions and standards
* Lead and develop a team of skilled staff, providing guidance, training and support
* Develop and implement maintenance plans, budgets and strategies to achieve our course goals
* Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve course conditions and operations
* Ensure compliance with environmental best practices and champion sustainability
* WHS expertise
What You'll Bring:
* Advanced qualifications in turf management, agronomics, horticulture or a related field
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in golf course management, preferably at a high-end or championship course
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology (e.g. agronomic software, GPS mapping)
* Ambition to drive continual improvements and innovation
