The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reservations & Guest Accommodation Manager to lead our reservations and guest services team, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest satisfaction, and strong occupancy performance. What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading and supporting the Reservations and Guest Services team in daily operations.
2. Training, mentoring, and developing staff to uphold consistent service excellence.
3. Managing and resolving guest complaints with professionalism and care.
4. Overseeing accommodation reservation accuracy, payment processing, and cancellations in collaboration with the accounts team.
5. Monitoring pricing and occupancy levels, applying revenue management strategies to maximise bookings.
6. Working closely with the marketing team to create and implement targeted promotions for underperforming properties.
7. Liaising with the property managers, care and housekeeping team to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
8. Ensuring every guest interaction reflects Niche’s high standards of professionalism and warmth.
9. Addressing operational issues proactively to ensure smooth, consistent accommodation services.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. At least 1 year of proven experience in hotel, holiday accommodation, or holiday park management.
2. Relevant Diploma or higher qualification
3. A vibrant personality and a true desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
4. Possess strong leadership and organisation skills, thorough and systems orientated with meticulous attention to detail.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels (email, phone and in-person).
6. Ability to build strong client relationships and maintain an excellent customer focus.
7. You will be a problem solver and results driven, with proven leadership skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
9. Sound knowledge of revenue management principles and financial processes.
10. Hands-on team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
11. Confident in using reservation software (experience with Outlook, Resly, Pricelabs, Airbnb, STAYZ, *********** is an advantage).
12. Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends. You will be required to work a minimum of 1 weekend day.
