Role Description
The Emergency Response Technician role involves responding to emergency situations, conducting safety inspections, implementing risk management procedures, and supporting on-site teams in maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities include using emergency response equipment, coordinating evacuation and fire safety drills, and providing first aid when necessary. The role is on-site and located in Henderson, WA.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in emergency response procedures, including fire safety, rescue operations, and first aid.
* Experience in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and developing safety protocols.
* Strong problem‐solving abilities, teamwork, and decision‐making skills under pressure.
* Accreditation or certification in emergency response or occupational health and safety training.
* Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging and potentially hazardous environments.
* Knowledge of environmental safety practices and tools.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience in documenting safety records is an advantage.
* Previous experience in emergency response teams and knowledge of legislative requirements is preferred.
